1. Services

2Atoms provides:

• Film & Media Production – including (but not limited to) filming, editing, post-production, and content creation.

• Workshops & Coaching – for individuals and groups, offered both in-person and online.

All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

2. Payments

• Film Production Services: A deposit may be required before project commencement, with the balance due upon delivery of final content, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Workshops: Fees must be paid in advance at the time of registration.

• Coaching Sessions: Payments are due after each session, unless otherwise agreed.

• All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. You can view our full Refund Policy here.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Film Production Projects:

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients retain ownership of the final deliverables once full payment has been received.

  • 2Atoms retains the right to use excerpts or copies of produced content for marketing and portfolio purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

• Workshops & Coaching Materials:

  • All training materials, course content, and resources are the intellectual property of 2Atoms and may not be copied, distributed, or resold without written consent.

• Website Content:

  • All text, graphics, images, and media on the 2Atoms website remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.

5. Client Responsibilities (Film Production)

• Clients must ensure that all materials provided (scripts, logos, music, footage, etc.) are free of copyright restrictions or that they have obtained the necessary permissions.

• Clients are responsible for securing filming locations, talent releases, and any necessary permits unless otherwise arranged with 2Atoms.

• Delays caused by client inaction (e.g., late delivery of assets, unavailability for filming) may affect timelines and final delivery.

6. Liability Disclaimer

• While we strive to meet agreed deadlines, 2Atoms is not liable for delays caused by equipment failure, third-party vendors, client delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

• For workshops and coaching, 2Atoms makes no guarantees of specific outcomes; participation is voluntary and at the client’s own discretion.

• We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

7. Extraordinary Circumstances

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, emergencies, or government restrictions), 2Atoms reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services. In such cases, participants and clients will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer payment to a future date/project.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ottawa, Ontario.

2Atoms reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
